Wellness Private 10 Villas Luxury Compound, Orotina

Villas del Rey is a luxury 8-hectare property located between Tarcoles and Orotina. The facilities are situated on 20 fully enclosed acres of fruit groves consisting of mango, star fruit, guava, guanabana, papaya, cashew, avocado, banana, plantain, lemon, orange, and grapefruit trees. The property is perfectly located on the main highway near almost all large tourist destinations in Costa Rica’s Central Pacific area.

There are a variety of possible uses for the property. It currently is being used as a resort and vacation rental property. There is lots of room for additional villas. A self-contained retirement community is another option along with a wildlife retreat or a time share concept. Also, since Costa Rica is well known for its plastic surgery and has an abundance of foreigners that come for a variety of procedures, it would be a perfect site for a convalescent/rehabilitation facility.

The property consists of 7 completed villas (5 different styles) and 2 uncompleted villa. Each villa is situated on a minimum 1/2-acre parcel of land. The property also includes a large lobby that contains a restaurant/bar, business center, and gym. There is an additional home that can be used as an employee area including a separate area for a live-in manager.

For the guests/owner’s enjoyment there is a large pool with outdoor wood pizza oven, BBQ, and kitchen. There is an area for a fishing pond stocked which could be stocked with tilapia, and many meandering paths. There is also an amazing amount of wildlife that is found on the property. A large group of Mantled Howler Monkeys lives on the property as well as Coati, Agouti, iguanas, butterflies, turtles, red tailed squirrels, frogs, porcupines, forest rabbits and a variety tropical bird.

My take a residential sustainable development with common areas already finished and 9 villas. There is space for at least 20 more. Very private and enclosed, maybe fractional time share, even a hotel site for a boutique Hotel.
