The nearest town from las delicias is Bijagual, is a small rural town perched atop the hills that overlook the Central Pacific Coast. In the Bijagual area are several tourist attractions such as Bijagual Waterfall Hiking Trail and pura Vida Gardens and waterfalls. Also, the town of Bijagual has a church soccer field and little stores like pulperias, which are rural grocery stores. A very simple town but the most welcome people. A place to stay to go fishing and walk around high hills and mountain. Carara National Park forms a backdrop for the bucolic community, like a wild garden clinging to the sides of craggy mountains. This town is worth a visit. Because of its elevation, temperatures are markedly cooler here than at the beach.
