This boutique mountain resort and retreat/conference center has a growing reputation and serves as a complete turnkey operation with well-trained and competent staff.
The Award-winning Hotel has 10 roomy casitas and is situated on 3 hectares (7.5 acres) of lush secondary forest with abundant wildlife for an exceptional Costa Rican experience – white-faced monkeys, jungle reptiles and dozens of species of tropical birds, including colorful toucans are seen daily.
The resort in the mountains is overlooking Costa Rica’s central valley (1 hour’s drive west from San Jose, with easy access to new highway).
There is an owner’s house included on the property as well as another 2 brm/2bath home.
This resort has the best climate of whole Costa Rica with a very comfortable temperature with almost no rain all year round.
The resort is complete with restaurant, small swimming pool lobby/reception area, 3-bedroom attached home and separate 2-bedroom home on-site, day spa/wellness center and fitness room, and large teakwood open-air pavilion with breathtaking mountain views, organic gardens, fruit trees, pure water source with irrigation system, hiking trails, wi/fi system.
The pavilion space is perfect for hosting retreats or meetings of any kind, ranging from yoga and dance to spiritual seminars and professional workshops. This resort is suitable to become a special medical treatment center and with all the necessary privacy, amenities and treatment facilities. The original construction of the resort is 10 years old, with additional construction built in 2008 and 2009.
Adjacent points of interest encompass the conventional municipality of San Pablo, where visitors can immerse themselves in the distinctive Costa Rican culture and lifestyle, which remains unaffected by tourism and foreign enterprises (regrettably, this is not the prevailing circumstance elsewhere in the nation). Furthermore, there are exquisite hiking paths, equestrian excursions, and stunning secluded waterfalls and rivers in close proximity, providing an opportunity to intimately experience the jungle’s fauna. Additionally, the resort offers remarkable tours to Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Jaco Beach, Carara National Park, Tortuga Island Calypso Cruise, the museums and marketplaces of San Jose, and an Adventure Park for zip-line canopy tours. These attractions are all conveniently located within a 1.5-hour drive from the resort, ensuring a memorable experience for both owners and guests. Aside from its private yet accessible position, the property is surrounded by two adjacent parcels of land, with one currently available for purchase and the other becoming available soon. This offers reliable opportunities for expansion, should you desire. The region is gradually undergoing development, ensuring a consistent increase in property value, therefore making the resort an attractive investment opportunity.
